The snake earrings immediately caught my eye — especially because I was born in the Year of the Snake. I bought them along with the little fish earrings while home in Toronto, my motherland, and they ended up becoming something much more meaningful than simply a beautiful pair of earrings. I split both sets with my dear friend Kirstie, one of my bridesmaids. We’re both Pisces and both Year of the Snake, so it felt meant to be that we should each have one fish and one snake. I love jewelry that carries a story, and these little pieces now hold friendship, home, connection and a bit of who we are.
